raven katz is a singer, songwriter & educator. with a particular love for crafting lyrics, she gathers influence from visual arts, fiction, nature and great songs of the past to inspire a sound that is at once reminiscent and all her own.
the title track from her 2019 premier ep “inside out” finds the songwriter working to embrace the freedom that blossoms from honest expression. the song uncovers a balm for healing in the simple act of speaking dark thoughts into the world outside ourselves. the ep was recorded between los angeles and nashville in collaboration with producer evan galante.
as a passionate teacher, editor and collaborator, raven has had the opportunity to create and instruct songwriters across the u.s and abroad—with invitations to work & teach in the middle east, europe and beyond.
